Creating a family business
Our journey to create a family owned business began with a dinner time conversation that posed the question: "If you could own a business, what would it be?" The discussion turned to us talking about our grandparents and their businesses, poker games, and what if those businesses had been passed to us. We came to the conclusion that a family business should be built upon something we are passionate about. Being photography and film enthusiasts, something in that realm seemed to be the most logical choice.
Soon after that infamous dinner discussion, we were asked to film a wedding. Keep in mind, we were "friends with cameras" and we were asked only two weeks before the massive wedding! It turned out to being a great excuse to buy another camera - but that, of course, meant a short time to learn the new equipment. After all was said and done, we talked about how we would have approached it much differently if cinematography was our family business.
The "if" became a "when" in 2016 Hulse Videography was founded. Initially we were serving a niche market filming Orthodox Christian weddings and baptisms because we understood the nuances of these Sacraments. In 2019, we rebranded the business to include a wider market and added photography services. Our new name, Your Timeless Images, reflects our mission to provide our clients with ways to preserver their special moments in films and images. We pride ourselves on connecting with our clients on a personal level in order to tell their unique stories.
